controversial movie/book/non-metal music opinions thread

My favorite Shakespeare is Hamlet, although I haven't read some of the major ones like Macbeth.

i swear hamlet contains everything. every philosophical movement which came after it, every piece of literature that came after it, everything. the more i learn and the more times i read hamlet the clearer this becomes. i'm sympathetic towards harold bloom's whole 'shakespeare invented the modern human' idea too.

macbeth is so fucking awesome btw.

HEY GUYZ, WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR KING LEAR??1

Guys getting eyes plucked out and shizzle is badass.

Shakespeare may have precipitated some of the ideas that Blake wrote about, but he never would have been daring enough to write what Blake actually wrote (but then again, that would explain the disguise...).

So, I think we've got Shakespeare covered: he's a genius.

Any fans of William Blake here?

I love his artwork for the Divine Comedy.

Shakespeare was actually Francis Bacon......
