Controversial opinions on metal

What about Protector and Sacrifice?

If that was directed towards me, I have never formed any kind of opinion regarding Protector's leadwork (though maybe I should; it's been a while since I've played Urm the Mad which I know I liked), but Soldiers/Apocalypse-era Sacrifice is definitely above average there.

I don't think anyone can make a better solo then ANY solo from Rust in Peace. Seriously.

Definitely has a ton of amazing ones, but there are weaker moments too (the first minute of Hangar 18's solos are so much better than the second minute) and post-Punishment Vetterli has plenty that can compete.

I wouldn't change Mustaine's voice for anyone's on the first two albums. Beyond those, eh, hit and miss.

So as it turns out, "Death metal is boring" is not a very controversial opinion. I hear this about 10 times a week now.

Glad I sold my shares when I did.

I find more modern kinds of death metal can be boring if I'm not in the mood for it. Most of the time though, stuff like Scream Bloody Gore and Seven Churches is pretty good for playing whenever.

Okay if you don't like Cattle Decapitation you are not a true metalhead seriously... Other than a couple melodic parts in their songs ( VERY few TBH ) I don't see why they are considered progressive..

Their vocalist is fucking insane.

You're an idiot. Get banned again.

Haha that Hades Archer demo absolutely slays I have no problem with it being named 'Penis Metal'.Love my war/bestial shit but cannot stand brutal/slam,not like I have'nt tried but there is something quite different about both genres which I can't put my finger on.
