I only really listen to Altars of Madness and Gateways to Annihilation, honestly. Heretic is okay. I like B through F, but just don't listen to them much

No love for Blessed, but love for Heretic?

I thought Erik Rutan did a great job on Gateways. That was the first Morbid Angel album I bought when I was like 14, so I got a soft spot for it. But I also like Erik Rutan. I dont get the hate.

Speaking of which, Hate Eternal, not sure why they get so much baggage either. Havnt really payed much attention to em after Kings, but I thought their first two albums were solid slabs of Death Metal.

I clearly remember Hate Eternal getting all kinds of shit on here over the years and I never knew why. For once I agree with Kafkax. The first two, but especially King of all Kings, are awesome.

Haha, yeah I was just being lazy.

I still love a lot of grindcore, and constant aggression is great. But there's an empty sameness to a lot of HE's stuff is all.
