Nah... I agree with him, 'Blood Shall Be Spilled' is pretty much the only song which is immediately satisfying and accessible - and thus, it loses its power with multiple listens (particularly the ending section, even though I do agree that it's really cool). The rest of the album is more far more adventurous and subtle... it takes time to sink in and really appreciate.

i remember listening to FAFTS on a ship with the sun setting across the water and a clear increasingly starry sky and it was totally perfect

I enjoy both bands just as much, so the amount of ballsiness has nothing to do with it. I was only commenting that Blind Guardian sounds ballsier than Dark Moor.

I don't really listen to either band anymore.
