Through the Darkest Hour is easily Solitude Aeturnus' best album.

The first two are just good

You'll get no argument from me on that one, its brilliant. One of the best doom albums ever. I'd actually place Alone right behind it. Flawless.

Downfall is pretty underrated. I think the band are actually its worst critics and at one point expressed interest in re-mastering the album. The production is a bit odd but there's much worse sounding stuff out there.

I just can't get enough of Seeds of the Desolate.

One of my favorites. Through The Darkest Hour is just as good as Beyond The Crimson Horizon. Downfall was rushed or something like that, the drummer did not have his kit and used half a drum set or someshit. I still like the album though. I don't think Solitude Aeturnus has any bad albums.

In terms of Solitude Aeturnus, I actually havent heard anything aside from Into the Depths of Sorrow, but I enjoy it greatly.

The Cult is Alive is much more of a punk album than a metal album.

I don't think that's true, feels like an over exaggeration.
It's certainly the most Punk album in their discography, but to say there's more Punk than Metal on that record doesn't make much sense to me.

Have you ever met any guys from the band? I met Karl Sanders once and he was a really chill guy. Talked to me, my buddy and a few others for like 15 minutes. Really down-to-earth dude
