Guns n Roses .... glam or not? I mean they clearly had the glammy look and all early on, and they did come form the sunset strip .... but i don't hear it much in their music. heavy/hard dad rock

I don't think they're glam. I would describe them as Hollywood Rose + L.A. Guns + Aerosmith & The Rolling Stones = G'N'R.

Makes a lot of sense, quite literally everybody I know irl that likes Guns N' Roses more than casually, is right on that line of being into metal, but never quite makes the transition.
