I just think that anyone who can take Axl Rose's singing for extended periods must have something wrong with their eardrums.
Well they certainly do afterwards.

Makes a lot of sense, quite literally everybody I know irl that likes Guns N' Roses more than casually, is right on that line of being into metal, but never quite makes the transition.
Besides, that implies that there are tens of millions of people "right on that line of being into metal", which is silly.
Not really. How is it silly? It's entirely plausible given metal's flirtation with accessible sounds and inaccessible sounds.
Except they put out one of the best hard rock albums of all time in Appetite for Destruction.
Maybe if you limited it to the specific year it came out. Even then...
I do like the song "Patience" though, for some reason.
Wrong album
Pretty much every hard rock album released in the 70's is better than it.
Skid Row, glam or not? They are without a doubt a glam band imo. People try to say "but listen to Slave to the Grind, its soo metal" Which i think is a pretty hilarious thing to say ..... I remember there being only one song that can be classified as metal on that album and a bunch of rock ballads.
Yes they do. Basically the follow ups to Dr. Feelgood that we never got.Self-titled and STTG rule regardless of genre classification
... nah, first album sucks hard. Slaves to the Grind has one good song from what i remember. ONE.
