I hope you're at least making an exception for The Sound of Perseverance, because the first three Pestilence albums most assuredly rape that one.

Yeah, I believe Obituary wins slightly in terms of Obituary's prime vs Death's prime. Obituary's later work are not bad but Death's later work is not worth the time.

The drumming (esp. the tone) is the best part! Richard Christy is LEGITIMATELY talented and good! BUT, he does do some random fucking shit on that album that absolutely makes no sense.
