I like Consuming Impulse and all but saying it's better than anything Death has done is something we in the biz call a stretch.

I hope you're at least making an exception for The Sound of Perseverance, because the first three Pestilence albums most assuredly rape that one.

Yeah, I believe Obituary wins slightly in terms of Obituary's prime vs Death's prime. Obituary's later work are not bad but Death's later work is not worth the time.
