Death metal is not a party.
Entombed is very much a partyband though. Simple, direct and catchy.
Its the same way I can enjoy Iron Maiden. Its ok during a party but I never listen to them by myself.

here's my controversial opinion
Primordial's The Gathering Wilderness, though it was the album that got me into Primordial, is one of their weaker albums
Agreed; although, oddly enough, it showcases one of the strongest songs they ever composed.
Death Magnetic was certainly better than anything since Black album though, agreed? So I'd say newer Metallica > newer Maiden. And Endgame was a step up as well.
I think SA be a lot better if it didn't have the shittiest snare sound in all recorded musical history.
Coffin Ships? It's probably my favorite overall alongside The Burning Season.
I've always thought 'Gods to the Godless' is the best Primordial song. 'The Coffin Ships' is great too though, the title track from that album MAY be better, not sure really it is a close call.Yes, "The Coffin Ships." It's probably my second or third favorite Primordial song.
