So, is that why everybody hates Cannibal Corpse? Is it simply because Alex Webster isn't a necro-pedophile in real life?

For me its mainly 3 things:

1. The drumming is awfully boring. He does what he has to but its so boring its bad.

2. I dont like Corpsegrinder. Just not what I prefer in a deth metal vocalist.

3. I generally hate bands with no substance at all behind their lyrics. So the gore-theme puts me off.

The biggest part by far is the drumming though. With another drummer I might be interested.

I'd say writing songs from the killer's perspective covers the violence/aggression theme, and usually the hatred one as well.
