Cravings

indian's, paki's and asians in general ... as well as mexicans are usually super hard workers (i am going by retail jobs and the like)

which is more than I can say for most white folk if in the same jobs.

I miss my Paki friend. Last time I saw him was right before Halloween. We went out to dinner, he showered us with alcoholic beverages, and gleamed over the fact that he had sex with a white woman. He always seemed kind of torn with his religion. Sometimes he was all gung-ho and followed all the rules of Islam, other times he was just like "fuck it" and did whatever. I'm guessing he ended all contact with us because he's trying to be a good Muslim again and us whiteys were a bad influence...or something :loco:

:(

You know, I also miss talking to my Paki friends at work...
They were awesome and funny... I just hated the "lets bash America"
conversations on how: "pakis and forigners are so smart because they all own businesses and Americans don't"
by business they means: a 7-11 or a store... y'know?
...but they were really religious and I couldn't "hang" with them outside of work...

you know why though right???

Would you work for $12 an hour all your life, being a minor manager/ or not even?
Fact is: most "white" people go to college and the retail job is just a "temp"
for them while they are getting their degrees...
...while for others, it's their life-jobs.

My Paki friend's a super hard worker. He held down 2 part-time jobs whilst going to medical school, and had a radio show on top of that. He's supposed to be off on a "business venture" of a medical sort. But I wish he'd answer his phone or reply to text messages. Makes me worried :/

that's really no excuse ...

Man, everyone involved in the last 2 pages of this thread should visit a Walmart in Tooele, Utah... Not only will you agree that humanity should stop reproducing, you'd also find out how lazy mexicans in retail can be.

@ Lurch: well, you're right, because I believe that if someone has a job: they should be hard workers no matter what the job is,
but that's the fact...
I managed a retail store up until 3 weeks ago, and all my best hard working people were "non american"
the others never went "above and beyond" which explains why I got to manage a store within a year of working there,
and got promoted 3 times, and some of my co-workers are still at the 'bottom' for 5-3 years...
sucks for them, that's all I'm gonna say.

Thank you, it's actually from 2005 thereabouts. I haven't had that pink hair for years but I'm sentimentally attached to my avatar because I've had it for so long. Hhaha....the things I get attached to. The hair was fun though...Sometimes I wish I could do another crazy color but I work in an office environment now. =[

^ I hear ya.
I used to have pink/ purple/blue/ blonde/ shocking red/ green hair as well..
I wish I had a pic scanned to show ya (it was all taken pre-digital cam)
It's fun, but takes a lot of work! hehe.
I really feel like doing something crazy with my hair as well, (I miss my red especially)
but I can't... job-wise

POOR US!

God damn fuck office jobs!! >=[
Thankfully I really enjoy my job most of the time. And since Jerry asked what I do...... I paint protoypes for The Danbury Mint figurines and shit. Also sometimes sketch, design, etc. Other times I sub for the office folk who are out sick. Those days I'm basically a paper whore and a gopher. I hate those days. Enjoy painting and designing so much more.

What do you do Lioness?

What do you do Lioness?

Well, Up until 3 weeks ago I managed a Petco store... I was also the Animal Specialist of the store, which gave me full "in charge" on everything in my store, animal wise, and paper work/ employees wise.
I'm pretty proud of the fact that I got promoted so fast to become a 'general manager' of a store, but retail SUCKS and I quit due to the fact that I go to school
full time, and will graduate at the end of this year, and I probably need to find some internship in my field rather than manage a retail store...
I feel so relieved after I left... although, I loved my team, and they still call me for quastions and advices regarding animals/ issues :(

I'm on the job market now, which is why I can't go crazy with purple hair now
y'know?
