How does it compare to Sons of Northern Darkness? I really liked that one.

I think it's about even. Sons.. is catchier but All Shall Fall is more grim n' atmospheric. Same kind of fun riffs

This makes me happy to hear! I had heard some other folks saying it was their worst album ever, but they are trv guys that hate Sons of Northern Darkness anyway, so fuck them.

I have no idea. I'm not even the biggest Immortal fan...I only have a couple albums. But I know what I dig and their music is super fun.
If I were in a black metal band, I would totally do a music video in the woods or on a mountain.

I love Immortal and those are some great news, At The Heat of Winter was really good too (Tragedies Blown At Horizon

New Hypocrisy is great, but I was expecting some Necronomicon riffing. There's a bit too much "industrial" riffing, but I'm sure it will grow on me even more with time.
And I don't think the voice is mixed as well as before, it's not as detailed as it used to be, dunno..

I totally agree with you. Some of the best stuff they've done since probably Youthanasia?
Then again, I've always been a big Megadeth fan. One of the original metal bands that I started listening to when I was 13.

I really liked a couple of Megadeth songs during my thrash period many years ago but in my oppinion they have never made a completly great album until now

No, even the legendary rust in pace has weak moments, the new album ahs wek moments as well but my overall feeling is that engame is better.
