THE CROWN Is Back! - Dec. 1, 2009
DOBERMANN, the band formed by four former members of the Swedish death/thrash act THE CROWN, has officially changed its name to THE CROWN and has released audio samples of two brand new songs, both of which can be streamed below.

THE CROWN 2009 is:

* Jonas Stålhammar (GOD MACABRE, MACABRE END, ABHOTH) - Vocals
* Marko Tervonen - Rhythm Guitar
* Marcus Sunesson - Lead Guitar
* Magnus Olsfelt - Bass
* Janne Saarenpää - Drums

DOBERMANN earlier in the year parted with vocalist Andreas "Whiplasher Bernadotte" Bergh of the Swedish industrial goth metal band DEATHSTARS and was said to be recording a collection of tunes which were being described as "pure death/thrash metal."

Without Johan Lindstrand it's not gonna be The Crown. I did predict this about 80 times though since all the other members new projects sucked butt

Lindstrand surely was imported for their sound, I am interested to hear this with Stålhammar on vox though, he ain't just somebody..

lol, that is going to be confusing at first. Having The Crown back is awesome though. Not really a fan of the new vox so far, even though they are pretty similar to mr.Lindstrand they don't sound right to me.
