It's looking like the first two albums from The Chasm will be re-released. I saw a post on nwn forum where one guy asked Corchado in an email about them and he said they should be out buy the end of the year.

When are they going to reissue Deathcult? That album is near impossible to buy nowadays...

World Management and Morbid Angel would like to let the fans know
that rumors about Pedro Sandoval¹s back surgery are in fact true.
Pete has suffered for a long time with a deteriorating disc problem.
He was in daily pain and needed to have this done.
He has recently been treated by a Laser Back Surgery specialist
in Tampa Florida. He is currently in rehabilitation and doing well.
Pete is part of our family and the band¹s History
and we all wish him well and a full recovery.
Unfortunately this type of injury, subsequent surgery and rehab
cannot be rushed and it will take ample time for him to hopefully
be back behind his drums again and out on tour with Morbid Angel.

The band is moving forward on their next recording with Tim Yeung.
Currently the guys are in rehearsals in Tampa putting their finishing
touches on the songs for the New album, which is slated for later
this year with subsequent touring world wide.

I had completely missed this. Later this year huh.

What are people's opinions on Lividity? I was thinking of getting "Used, Abused and Left for Dead" and "To Desecrate and Defile".

Lividity is worth checking out for some decent pornogrind. The band I was briefly in (Clitosaurus Rex) was very inspired by them

Haha yeah its good, though they decided to change it to Pussy Plunger, but I think it stopped a long time ago. And last time I checked there wasn't anything released; I'd assume its the same still.

Anyways go with Used, Abused and Left For Dead first.

I've been listening to the Pan.Thy.Monium Dawn/Dream II comp the past few days and it's great. I've never listened to the band previously so are their other releases comparable? In the liner notes Swano says that the material on the comp is their best.

I own Khaooohs & Kon-Fus-Ion and the 2 CD Dawn of Dreams + Khaooohs digipack...they are both pretty great pieces of work. I only have mp3s of the stuff Crypt re-released and it doesn't look like I'll have the money for that LP anytime soon, but, regardless, I really fucking like Pan.Thy.Monium; "Behrial" off Khaooohs & Kon-Fus-Ion is fucking amazing.

EDIT: So good, why does nobody talk about this thing? It's USDM kinda like Sadistic Intent but way more riffing while staying evil and shit. It's very, very good.
