Death Metal

Thats cool. All three MA albums with Steve Tucker were solid. A lot of complaints about Heretic but if you put together an album without all of the annoying interludes, it is good.
I don't know much about either guy but I get the feeling that Tucker has remained true to death metal whereas Vincent is too far gone.
It wont be another I album at least.

He does seem like the delusional type.

Yeah, that too.

I did talk with someone who knows Steve personally (as in, the drum tech for the band Warfather which is a Tucker side project) and he said Steve informed him of rejoining 6 months ago. He also indicated that Vincent may have a contract with MA which bars them from firing him formally until the contract is completed.

My guess is they'll try to release an album and he'll delay it. I'm sure we'll hear something more definitive from Trey in the coming weeks/months

saw them last year and they're still good when they play the old songs

I saw them awile back and Tony Norman's guitar cut in an out for the entire duration of the set. Can't believe that shit.

If someone would be a pal and point me in the direction of procuring The Chasm's discography either for cheap or free (because I'm broke), I will be eternally grateful. It's time I see what this band is about. I already own Deathcult.

Lol cheap isn't happening. It took me a few years of looking and waiting for reissues to get their albums at decent prices. I think I'm only missing the one they released on Earache (literally the easiest one to get) too bad you already own Deathcult, I have the remaster and original.

I was afraid of this.

So I was able to procure The Chasm's entire discography other than Deathcult and this band is fantastic.

Farseeing the Paranormal Abysm is probably my favorite so far from the band.

Have you heard of Funereality?

I looked them up on YouTube but I definitely remember the album cover of the song I'm currently listening to and I was already subscribed to the channel it was posted it on, sounds like pretty good Autopsy worship. Out of the bands with funeral in their name, I would say Funeratus is my favorite, I have a soft spot for crazy fast Brazilian style death metal.

I'm good mates with him (it's a one-man band) and he's a great guy.
I'm actually funding his new cassette EP, any fuck in here that likes Funereality I can hook you up through the mail.

Oh lord his new shit pisses all over his first two demo tapes.
