I like Autopsy, but Autopsy worship gets old real fast because the bands just sound like Autopsy and nothing else. Sleepers in The Rift by Morbus Chron is the best Autopsy influenced stuff I have come across. Despite this prefere what the band is doing now with Sweven.

Try seeing them live if they come around your area. I didnt really care for them either, until that moment I saw them live. Then I quickly realized I was an idiot for not caring about them sooner.

Only really loved Condemned Cathedral but the rest is okay. Not on Autopsy's level.

I find it hard to believe Moribund just said fuck their reissue of this and never had booklets made or did a second press. This album rivals Incantation and Immolations strongest outputs. While not surpassing them it's still a fucking monster.

You don't get a lot of things.
Doesn't get the Autopsy hype but takes photos with Jungle Rot, not saying they're the worst band around or anything, but this is all beginning to make sense to me.
Agree with Krow, they're a cool band, not on Autopsy's level, but still cool and really the only thing they did that's comparable is Condemned Cathedral but even then their style is very stiff, sort of like Coffins when they hit a fast/medium pace or stiff in the same way Mortician are, whereas Autopsy have that loose, fucked up sound which just annihilates me every time, Acts of the Unspeakable is one of my favourite Death Metal records for this reason.
Fucking amazing vocalist in Decrepitaph though and the drums especially impress me, they sound so fucking primitive and heavy.

If I remember right, there were no booklets. If they were destroyed or never even made I'm not entirely sure. But I THOUGHT the story went they were destroyed somehow and never redone.

Please enlighten me then. I'm more than willing to post my pictures of myself with John McEntee and some of the dudes from Suffocation. Does that make me more legitimate? Please crawl back into your cave.
I like Autopsy and everything, but I only own one album from the band and have only heard the first two. Is their recent stuff as good as that? I don't know. I'm so behind on the new metal stuff coming out.
I guess in terms of the classic stuff, in my opinion, they are ranked near the bottom of everything I've heard from that era. Not bad or anything, just stuff I'd rather listen to over their first two from that era (like Entombed and stuff).

I love my cave, also not a fan of Suffocation myself.
First two Autopsy albums tend to be the fan favourites, I prefer the third and fourth albums personally, but hey like whatever you want obviously.
I'm just slowly realising that your taste is extremely boring to me, Entombed are fucking brilliant though, especially the first two records.
