So I finally got around to giving Malevolent Creation's Doomsday X a listen. It really is much better than a lot of reviews would lead you to believe. The whole way through they stayed true to the same old school Florida sound that they helped create and those who were expecting them to develop some kind of new edge now are just gaymosexual.

Does it sound like their first few albums?

That is my second favorite album from last year. I think it sounds the most like old Malevolent since, well, old Malevolent.
Caught them when they came through to tour behind this album, and they smoked! Scored a cool Doomsday X tee, besides seeing the band for the first time live.
