Interesting to see you rank death metal in 4th place. Only a year ago, it would have been in first place. As mentioned, death, black and thrash are all tied in first for me, since I really like many bands of all those genres, and sometimes the distinction is blurry.

Above all I listen to Thrash, then a whole load of traditional metal, especially Maiden. After that theres Death metal, Folk metal, Viking metal and Prog metal. And just for good measure a bit of Doom and Black metal too.
Oh, and the ocassional bit of classic rock.
