If Deliverance and Damnation had been released as a double CD there would have been many incidence of over dosage on this board directly due to all the material.

I would like them to do a three or four cd box set like Vai does.
You know like have the first 3 cd's come out once a year and the last one
you have to buy the case for. And the case could be like a crypt or Morningrise
Castle looking thingy.
Yea, a 4 cd outing that would follow the progression of a story about a young Melinda
cast out in a desert at the age of 10.
The second CD would be about Melinda in her teens as this meadevil warrior killing
and mameing countless victims.
The third CD would have Melinda dieing and would be the Dirgeiest Slow Fucking Metal
shit anyone has ever heard. Scary indeed!
The final instalment could have Melinda as the grand Demon reining fire and brimstone over all the tortured souls that are Opeth Fans! hahahahaha

I preffer that they stayed as individual albums. It's pretty clear that the focus was on Damnation and the fact that it is different from what they've done in the past would make releasing it as part of a double somewhat illogical. It would've only been seen as an extension of Deliverance, which in a sense it was, but certainly developed alot more.

They're two individual albums despite being produced in the same 'session'.
