I've read Ellis's Less Than Zero at the age of 13 and I was never the same person after that experience. Glamorama and Informers rock.
American Psycho obviously is the classic in nihilism.
There are authors like Irving and many Finnish authors and poets that I especially like but somehow Ellis has influenced me quite much.
But I still have many world classics to read, maybe when I'm gray and old and have enough time...
