Does Folk/Black metal get better than Windir?

I haven't seen a disproportionate amount of praise for Windir here at all. Doesn't seem overrated to me.

Primordial are my favorite folk black metal band. Their music is not as complex as Windir's, but I love the atmosphere they create.

Windir is the only band the doesn't sound terribly goofy in all of their songs. I like goat horns alot, but sometimes I think folk is way too goofy and not serious at all. For some reason I don't get the goofiness with Windir.

Primordial's 2 - 4 albums are amazing. I can put those on any time of the day. They have such emotion, and all you want to do is chant with them. (specialy when I saw them play The Burning Season)

Falkenbach is ok, but it's not black metal.

I prefer Manegarm to Windir, but I think Manegarm is more viking than folk. I also prefer Folkearth

I have no clue what you're talking about. I hear plenty of goofiness on 1184 and that other one...Likferd. Arntor is decent but nothing to splooge over. Almost all of Primordial's stuff is great. The only one that I think is crap is the new one.

I has some goofy aspects, but I can listen to its goffiness compared to anyother viking bands.

I also heard the new falkenbach, and that is damn good viking/folk.
