Electric Wizard is fucking crap and there are dozens of better bands that actually play Doom Metal properly is all that I'm trying to say.

I don't like EW nearly as much as the other stuff I defend, so uh...no? I do like stoner doom, but if someone was trashing true doom and going "omg ew owns fuck you black sabbath noobcakes" you'd get "butthurt" too. Anyway, does anyone besides me and Doomcifer like Doomraiser?

I agree on this definitly. I like alot of doomdeath and funeral, I even like some sludgedoom bands like Malasangre but I have a fucking hard time liking stoner. EW are pretty good, and they are crushing live but the more I listen to them the less I like them. I guess groovy music isn't really my thing.

So far Burning Saviour's Nymphs and Weavers is pretty good but not really what I was expecting.

The new Wall Of Sleep was (imo) horrible and not at all worthy of the WOS name considering the previous two were amazing.

V5, I think we are the only two Doomraiser fans here. Great band and the vocalist reminds me of Danzig bigtime.

And to whoever is thinking it's stoner doom...no, it's not.

I also agree about the latest WoS. Although, I was never a huge fan to begin with.

I like Doomraiser a good bit, I had heard their Heavy Drunken Doom release a while back. Then at the advice of Andy I got Lords of Mercy, pretty good

Well, I am not promoting drug use at all, but when you smoke weed, or use any type of drug for that matter, it puts you in a state of mind that only makes the music feel different along with everything else. It is the drug itself that creates a strange atmosphere that fucks with your mind not the music itself.

lol, Burning Saviours are like a joke around my friends, mostly because they post around on all Swedish communities and claims that they are the new Pentagram or Black Sabbath.

I guess the music is ok though.
