Musically that isn't TOO far off I suppose, but pretty arrogant anyways. I like them a good bit, but as far as modern recreations of that sound I'll take Witchcraft over them most every time.

V5, I think we are the only two Doomraiser fans here. Great band and the vocalist reminds me of Danzig bigtime.

And to whoever is thinking it's stoner doom...no, it's not.

I also agree about the latest WoS. Although, I was never a huge fan to begin with.

i think i remember you saying this a few years ago ... and me thinking i had to check them out. yet to do it, but will hopefully get onto it today.

I picked up Adagio from Solitude Aeturnus today for 6 bucks and it kicks ass so far. I will need to check out the early material from this band.

Unholy, dISEMBOWELMENT, Umbra Nihil, Tyranny, Aarni and Dolorian are awesome, and pretty unique

Water In Lungs off the split with Aarni is one of the fucking coolest songs ever.

Indeed. A very interesting band that crafted really good songs.

If you think that's good then you should be blown away by their other stuff besides Downfall. Downfall & Adagio are their two worst.

Magnus Pelander the vocalist of Witchcraft's voice is so unique. They remind me if Cream and Sabbath recently met.
