Anyone here into While Heaven Wept? They do a very melodic, epic kind of doom metal. Their album, 'Of Empires Forlorn' is an amazing showcase of emotional songwriting.

I did word that a little awkwardly. Any variant of doom is good except drone.

lets see:

Candlemass - Nightfall
Solitude Aeturnus - Through The Darkest Hour
Warning - Watching From A Distance
Morgion - Solinari
Evoken - Quietus
Skepticism - Lead And Aether
Unholy - Rapture
Thergothon - Streams From The Heavens
Esoteric - The Pernicious Enigma
dISEMBOWELMENT - Transcendence Into The Peripheral

my favorites.

Evoken ~ embrace the emptiness
Cathedral ~ forest of equilibrium
Solitude Aeturnus ~ through the darkest hour
My Dying Bride ~ as the flower withers, trinity(comp) all pretty much
Anathema ~ crestfallen,pentecost III,serenades,the silent enigma
Paradise Lost ~ gothic
Katatonia ~ dance of december souls, brave murder day, jhva elohim meth ... the revival, sounds of decay
October Tide ~ grey dawn
Candlemass ~ epicus doomicus metallicus
Within Temptation ~ enter
Type O Negative ~ october rust
Theatre of Tragedy ~ velvet darkness they fear
Shape Of Despair ~ illusions play
Reverend Bizarre ~ crush the insects

I've heard Thergothon - Streams From The Heavens once and really liked it.

I'm not a very knowledgable doom fan, but I do enjoy Funeral (their newest album is absolutely awesome), Sirrah, and Terhen. I guess if you want to consider Sabbath doom as well then I enjoy them as well.

Well I finally listened to Candlemass yesterday. Epicus Doomicus Metallicus to be exact. What rock have I been hiding under? It's fucking great. Gonna check out Nightfall now.

Pretty much their whole discography is worth checking out. The one they did last year proves they're still pretty awesome.
