Drudkh - Blood In Our Wells

Yeah, I used to buy everything from the shops, and yeah, it does indeed cost an arm and a leg. Problem was, I didn't have a proper debit card until about a year ago (I was stuck with one of those Electron things which basically negated me from all online purchases), and I've been saving pretty hard for my new PC since then.

Yeah, we get screwed royally on... I was gonna say 'our CDs', but I really mean 'just about everything' over here.

How did Supernal fuck up for you, then?

Well, for a start they don't seem to have half of those CDs listed on their web-site actually in stock. One time I ordered a CD, wasn't in stock, they said they'd order it for me. I e-mail them back like 3 months later and ask where it is and they'd had it in, just totally forgotten about my order. I eventually got it though, just bloody ages after I ordered the damn thing. Someone else I know has had similar things happen.

Thanks for the link. Just ordered mine as well.

Wonder if they were expecting a run on this CD? I'm curious to know how many they ordered and if all our orders will get filled (without them having to reorder).

Since I've ordered the album, I'm not going to listen to the sample but I hope you guys realize how much you're hyping this....I'm feeling a stirring in my loins.
I don't think you'll like it.:loco:

Zod

Listen I'm not saying they have plain nazi symbols in there, just that the fatherland consciousness that transpires from the various images they put together is very very strong and obvious. Which is absolutely fine and even pretty poignant. I never implied "nationalist" as in "bad evil nasty" in this instance.

Cool. I can get a feel for what your saying just from the cover.

That song was great. I only own Autumn Aurora and never was blown away by it. If this song also indicates the sound of The Swan Road, then I'll be picking up that aswell as the new one. Oh yes I will!

Nate what is the rest of the album like?

Excellent. In my opinion it is easily the equal to Autumn Aurora. I don't know how it compares to Forgotten Legends; I just got that one today also.

Blood In Our Wells has a much better production than The Swan Road, as Erik pointed out. I really like some of the solos in it. There was a big thing about cineman parts on the Supernal website, but I don't really notice that they do anything for or to the album. There just kind of a secondary thing at this point. I've only listened to it twice, so maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention. It really has a great epic feel to it.

tis pretty good. only one listen into. very varied and long for a drudkh album

who's the ugly fucker in the booklet?

Bet on it, old man!

:kickass:

I listened to both FL and AA yesterday, back to back, and although I still think AA > FL, I do admit FL was better than I had remembered.

The only problem with FL is that the songs are too damn long. They fixed that good and proper on AA.

Can't wait for the new one.

You know I've never even heard the entirety of FL? Someone stab me next time I talk about buying vinyl instead of cds... I NEVER FUCKIN LISTEN TO THEM!
