Epica in NYC

Does anyone know who the official opening bands are for this show? Irving Plaza's website says Blackguard is the opener. It makes no mention of Alestorm or any of the other bands that are on the poster or that enterthevault is advertising. Just curious if anyone heard any confirmation as to the actual lineup.

Thanks everyone. I wasn't aware Destiny Potato was dropped. I guess that is why Blackguard was supposedly added.

Just spoke to Epica's tour manager. Blackguard is only on the first six shows of the tour.

Thank god I don't have to see Blackguard for the umpty millionth time...lol.. But, in San Antonio where I'll be seeing the Epica tour, it is a multiple stage facility. And low and behold, playing that same night, Geoff Tate's Queensryche will be playing on the outside stage... I sure was torn between who to see.... NOT!! hahahahahaha

I'm going the last stop on tour in Baltimore...I'll definitely be there for Alestorm, and I want to see Insomnium, but I cannot make myself like System Divide... despite their co-singer's blazing hotness.

Not bad at all. I'll definitely get there in time to check them out. I do suspect that I have a much higher tolerance/appreciation for metalcore than most of the PP crowd though.
