Favorite Opeth ballad?

Face of Melinda. To Bid You Farewell still sounds too 'mix-n-match' along with the rest of Morningrise. The tracks on Still Life, IMO, exhibited the greatest degree of artistic songwriting, and Face of Melinda is no exception. If you're a guitarist and have checked out any of the tabs, you'd know what I mean.

oops, i think you misread the question. the OP was asking for the best opeth ballad, not the worst.

Actually, I think YOU misread the question. He was asking for your favorite , not necessarily the best.

However, the point about Credence is valid. But calling it the worst Opeth ballad is relative, kind've like saying 'the ugliest Eagles cheerleader' or 'the smartest retard in the van'.
