well not only just cause it was fashionable...when I got out of college I moved to Arizona with a couple friends of mine and we knew these gay dudes who lived in our apartment complex. They were both real open about the fact that they had been involved with women in the past, but had gotten divorced and then not found compatible females...so they found a community which offered them sex and acceptance, namely, tey gayz...

and man, talk about promiscuous...aids was not a concern to these guys...it was, let's go cruising and get as much action as humanly possible.

obviously I know not all gays are like this but those people who believe it's strictly a DNA thing are hiding their heads in the sand.

we had a guy here who got busted for weenie-wagging in a public park....dumb fuck had been prepping to run for city council too the sad thing was, he had a wife and two teenagers, life must have been hell for those kids, seeing as how cruel kids can be to each other.

so we googled the name of the park and found a site called cruisingforsex.com, and it had all the hot public gay places to hook up with other gays, public bathrooms ala George Michael, with personal rating systems and shit. So our netadmin says, hey, check out Zanesville! So we use the site to check out Zanesville and there is a park listed, and he's like, "holy shit....that's where I walk my dog!"
