Finished BACKMASK Mixes!

Thanks for the feedback, guys...

If I think of a name I like better, I may change the name of the band, but that's it. The new material is a bit heavier than the EP, more growling, blast beats, etc... but when it comes time to mix the album, the best songs will be chosen out of the lot.

If you guys want to participate in helping me decide on whether or not to change the name, I invite you to come to the BACKMASK forum so we can keep this off Andy's forum:

This news makes me really excited. Oh yes... I may just get naughty now...

LOL! Good Decision Shane! Keep up the good work! Let me know when it's time to buy and i'll buy.

Sounds good to me... I've always enjoyed the material Shane, ever since you were posting about it on the Megadeth BB around 2001 or 2002. Also, saw you guys mentioned Revolver, congrats on that as well!

Noticed it was an old thread, but sounds great. It is still rather mindblowing that you got those kinds of sounds out of a PODxt. I'd love to be able to make mine sound that beefy.

Who does the vocals? I quite enjoy them...the guy maybe needs to work a but on sounding more melodic, but overall he has an excellent voice, and the vocals are mixed really fucking nicely. Not too much I'd change about the tracks in general.

Very professional sounding. You guys touring and or sending your tracks out to places where they can be heard? Really sound like the kind of songs that could make it big in the metal or music scene in general!

Just heard Tomorrow is Dead for the first time, and as others have stated, it's a damn fine song and the production is strong too. I love it.

Oh yeah, and I always liked Saigon Kick, and lots of other cock rock. I got into deathmetal once I heard "Heartwork" for the first time, but I'm still a big fan of proficiently executed 80s cheese, among many other things.

I love Saigon Kick (although I wouldn't necessarily class them as cock-rock me'self), and there is definitely a Bieler sound to the vocal harmonies. Great work.

Busy leeching the rest of the songs now.

Oh, forgot to say. Definitely keep going on this mate, there's HUGE potential there.

And stick me down for a hard copy once you've got them made. :)

/me rocks out to Feed The Enemy.
