I remember going onto their MP3.com site after hearing a lot of good stuff about them, but not really getting into the stuff... but then I downloaded "Murder" and I was hooked!!

"I Break" was the first song I'd heard. Brave Murder Day however, was the first album I heard by Katatonia. Still my favourite today.
First started when I thought I'd check them out by downloading For My Demons and I Am Nothing. Bought their albums since then and have been very happy with them 
The first song of their's i heard was "For My Demons" and it amazed me and still remains one of my favorite songs of all time of any band. I love Katatonia so much.

the first Katatonia song i heard was tonights music but oddly its one of my least favourite (as in not like as much as its still beats most things other bands have done in their entrie career) on LFDGD

Probably the firt song off Last Fair Deal Gone Down. i simply saw it in my local record shop, and bought it on what i have heard from other people about Katatonia.
