Glorious year for black/death metal. So much variety and creativity and youthful passion in these recordings. I absolutely love everything in my top ten, flaws and all. Procreation of the Inner Temple has grown on me a lot these past few years while other stuff has fallen out of favour (most notably Emperor).

I've never really been a huge black metal person honestly but when one hits me I really go for it. This might actually be my doomiest list.
