good borknagar album to start with??

hey yeah i'm new to borknagar, heard a few songs like oceans rise, colossus, revolt, soul sphere and inherit the earth and i thought all of it was great... the question though is which album to get first?

if you ask me it totally doesn't matter with which album you star, all albums are fucking great

You could walk the Timeline and start with the first, but I say try The Olden Domain, still my favourite.

Every album is different but all are very good. You've heard stuff with simon and vintersorg, check out their first 2 albums with kristoffer.

Ha ha I know about your problems with The olden Domain I guess you schould play it really loud on your stereo so your ears are cleaned up! :hotjump:

My first was Quintessence, but oddly enough it has become my least favorite from the band. I'd say either go with Empiricism or The Archaic Course. The Archaic Course is one of my favorite albums of all-time.

Hmm I do love quintessence, it has some great songs like The Presence Is Ominous, Revolt, Colossus...so I would say try that one
