Guitar disharmonies in Black Metal

I am curious to what the exact definition of a guitar disharmony is...

Is a disharmony basically a note that is played outside of a chord that you are improvising over? I am also wondering how bands like Xasthur, Abyssic Hate, Blut Aus Nord, and so forth incorporate this into their music.

Without actually hearing what you're refering to, the only thing that I can think of that you're speaking about would be harmonic intervals that sound dissonant when played together, i.e. minor and major 2nds, tritones or additional voicings in a chord form.

i don't think disharmony is a real word. maybe you mean dissonant harmony?
