@mitch: got GP tabs for easy sweeping? i wanna learn them properly

There isn't really easy sweeping and hard sweeping. Sweep picking is a right hand technique and most people have trouble with the left hand, you just need to learn all the major and minor shapes and practise them all equally.

if anyone has tabs to learn sweep picking techniques please tell... i have so much trouble with that

Umm I wouldn't advise LEARNING how to sweep by learning SNBN at all. That's 16th triplets at 120bpm which is 12 notes per second. If you can't actually sweep pick then you're going to butcher that song like every person on youtube has.

Learn the basics.

Here's a powertab of the 3 Major SHAPES and the 3 minor SHAPES all in the key of C. 3 string, 4 string and 5 string.

You need to learn where the root note is in each shape so you can transpose the shapes into different keys and also improvise using sweep picking. I'm not going to go into detail but if anyone has any specific questions then I'll be happy be answer them.

Probably. But then again, the video Live in Milwaukee 2000, he plays it really well. He's definitely gotten worse. :erk:
