it may not be a lot of tickets, but the fest is a big deal in the USA. It sells out pretty fast every year. Plus, many metal shows in the USA could not sell a couple thousand tickets, the fan base is just way too wide-spread.

Thanks for the info Turthalion- back in Europe we are used to festivals that holds around 25000-65000 people. The 1995 Dynamo festival in Holland even saw 150.000 metalers visiting the grounds.
Mind you, that was extraordinary, it was in all the papers and there was a 24H traffic jam blocking all the roads surrounding the city of Eindhoven. But man, it was GREAT to see so many metalheads together. We took over the whole of the city, people dressed in black dominated the streets and everyone was in a bloody good mood! :hotjump:
