Why replace slipknot and disturbed? Great bands to me...

And I need to give the credit to 1928 for letting me know of Fairyland great band.

I used to be a huge nu metal nerd but i can hardly listen to that stuff other than Korn or P.O.D. I like Alternative rock like Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle cos I have a soft spot for em.

Hmm I see, I've heard of Breaking Benjamin. Heard one song from them called Diary of Jane I think.

And only Slipknot is somewhat nu metal(in their early years mostly), Disturbed was never really nu metal, more like rap combined with heavy metal.

well i guess i just dont like generic hard rock then i guess. they can't really be classified as metal tbh. even SOAD barley makes it into the genre

Used to love SOAD but I got tired of the ugly themes in their albums...

It's difficult to classify bands that fuse genres especially ones like SOAD.

genres? i guess Power, Death, Black, Doom , Folk, Thrash, Progressive, pretty much anything that sounds original or good enough for me to like it as much or better than other bands.

edit: and SOAD can be classified as Experimental Rock/Metal

SOAD is indeed experimental which is why I said it's impossible to classify them really....it's a combination of many genres.

My favorite Dragonland songs are As Madness Took Me, Starfall, their version of Mozart's Rondo alla Turca, and Neverending Story.

i also like nu metal, indie rock, some rap, alternative, screamo, you name it lawlz

Well you should check out Korn since they are pioneers of Nu metal and you're saying that you like that genre
