Finally! Eh eh eh, now Im able to prepare by myself snus!!! Hey, Patric! I suppose you can find this REALLY interesting...

Homemade Swedish black gold, really? I have read at the Swedish homebrew forum that it is possible. So, how did you do it? Pulverize the tobacco plants? I want to know hehe eventhough perhaps I should relax (my lip is a little...destroyed!)

PS: Did you get my last mail, man?

well it's a moist mass of tobacco that resembles soil that some people enjoy having under their lip. it's called "moist snuff" in english. i think it's outlawed in germany, right?

The thing that I do is to crush a kind of italian cigar (Toscanello) but I suppose its possible to do even with other kinds, then the other step is to put the ground tobacco I obtained in water with a little bit of salt for two days. Its not perfect yet but I have to practice. :p
Yeah, got your mail and Im writing right now the answer, stay tuned!

A crushed cigar, that's easy! I must try it. Yeah, water and salt is also very important ingredience. Are you going to put in some taste-effects? You know, like General taste lemon, Gøteborg's Rapé tastes like the forest etc. etc.
I've still got 1 can of Grov left and buying more today. The flesh around my teeth is almost gone, though! And the lip skin is loose and a bit messed. Maybe I should have a 2 weeks snus rehab

Ahia! So it is exactly as I was saying: TOTAL SNUS DESTRUCTION!!! Hey, of course take care of your health even if to abuse of things is funny! What about the homebrewing swedish site you were talking about? Can you write down the address?
Im going to experiment to add some taste, yes. Ill start with something basic like liquirice or something.
Oh, fuck! I feel so proud! Im really sick spending my time inventing this kind of unhealthy things!!! :hotjump:

If you try and flavor it with whiskey, I'll have your hide for it! There's whiskey flavored snus here in Sweden, and I honestly believe there are several kinds of excrements more tasteful than THAT crap.

Yeah there's Whiskey, Mint, Lakrits well that's what I know. Heh, perhaps you should try with some Herbal taste, you know like when we pepper vodka in Sweden! The adress is www.bryggforum.com but it's all in Swedish unfortunately.

Thank you for the address, Patric and yes Ive tried sometime the flavoured snus. Honestly I prefer the pure one.
Eh eh, you pepper vodka, in the south of Italy there are people adding vipers blood in the red wine so that is possible to heal certain stomach diseases !

Hehe, viper's blood? Isn't there flavours that are less dramatic? Then again, they have worms in Tequila...I heard that if you drink this worm in the end of the bottle you will get SO drunk.

Anyway, yeah I think most snus is flavored in some way or "aromatic". But the one snus that is 100% is Ettan...but I don't snus that one so much!

If Im not wrong the one with the worm inside is called Mescal (from the name of the worm that is inside) and yeah, is fucking good!
Just few days ago Patric was asking to me about the different kinds of grappa avaylable in Italy...!
Drink hard, Svartengill! If we will meet I want to challenge you!!! E non sperare di vincere!!! :hotjump:

yes is meZcal...

*stringe la mano a cadarn e nn vede l'ora della sfida*
Cadarn..prepare your fegato..eheheh

Tequila is mezcal, but from a certain location (or certain locations, I dunno). The worm has nothing to do with it. It's like champagne, if it's not from the Champagne province it's just wine with a lotta bubbles in it.

Eh, I really dont have the same information so. I know that the worm that is inside (and that is a parasite of the cactus plant) produces a kind of substance called in italian mescalina (the same of the peyote) that can give a lot of addiction. A teacher from my university went in south america to study a kind of shamanic cult there and it seems that people there can reach a kind of status drinking this pure distilled of worms! Of course the one we can drink around it is not the same and the percent of mescalina is very little. As you said, the mezcal that is avaylable in the shops it is a kind of tequila that is a distilled of the cactus only with this pathetic worm inside.
Anyway, I hope you like it!

Yeah, mecaline. That, and many other hallucinegic substances (depends on where in the world you are, for example the Shamans closest to me in Sibiria etc. preffer the red mushroom) is an important ingrediance in the Shaman's trip. Of course, there was also other mthods. Self-tortue with hot steel etc., and like the Samish Shamans who danced around in circles and circles until they passed out. Let the cosmic trip begin! :goggly:

Really, I don't. I've had one too many unfortunate running ins with tequila :p Well, it's mostly the lemon and salt I dislike. I've tried tequila with orange slices dipped in cinnamon and sugar, which tastes really good. Not that it bothers me much, tequila is so much more expensive than beer...

And oh, more about mezcal/tequila: http://www.mezcal.com/teq.html

Yes, even here, much more expensive than beer! Anyway, thank you for the site!
Bout Samish shamanism, Patric, I think Ive told you about the friend of mine who was in Finnmark to study it, right? Yes, let the trip begin!!!
Good trip to everybody  :hypno:
