horror movie hoe-down!!!

Hmm... I really enjoy those old classics like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween and so on. Saw is great too but recently I like movies with great jumpscares.

Well, if you like jumpscares you shouldn't watch any of my recommendations. Zero jumpscares, just psychological eeriness instead.

Actually man, this kid makes a solid list for horror, I recommend the first 28(some I wouldn't consider pure horror but goodies) It gets off/on after that..if you've seen most then i'll grab my harddrive out and make a legit list for ya

This should take a lot of your time, pretty rare to find good lists on IMDB.

Wow, that list is fantastic, although I've only seen... 69 of them, all of which are great. Most of the rest are in my Netfux list. I like that dude.

Well I'm still gonna see if I can find something interesting. Jumpscares is just a plus for me + I prefer "real" horror, with that I mean psychos killing, people who has been taken and gets tortured. Things that can happen in real life instead of some werewolf or demon that hunts people down. I still like every kind of horror but I prefer that right now.

I tried watching The Wicker Chair once but it was so bad I had turn it off. I suppose I could give it another go

Once you get beyond the cheese of the first 10 minutes, you'll probably like it.

And later grow to love the first 10 minutes anyhow, after multiple viewings.

I just watched it for the first time last night, horror film really? Creepy/thriller/suspenseful maybe..not a bad film not sure i'm in love just yet

I've been passing over The Pact for months now and I finally watched it. I quite enjoyed it. And as an added bonus: Caity Lotz is hot as hell

Some call it horror. I call it awesome.

I watched John Dies at the End today. Pretty damn good, not as good as the book (is it ever?), but I loved it.

I've also watched the first 5 minutes of Sleepy Hollow several times over the past few weeks to fall asleep to. It just works well for that.

The Brood fucking rules. One of the best Cronenberg films. I have seen most but still have a few left...

Crash is pretty great. I haven't seen Rabid or eXistenZ yet.

If you haven't seen Dead Ringers... jaysus. Creepy stuff.

I watched Cronenberg's Crash last night, definitely another one of his weird ass human desire stories..people are only getting off while imitating car crashes and stuff...wasn't terrible or great, worth watching, just not sure what I should be taking from it. Realized I watched eXistenZ before and it wasn't that great, so might watch Rabid later tonight or something and then that's it for him
