I'm not in the competition, just stating as said a few pages before, I will be part of it by supplying the bass DI's for your mixing pleasure, I have a 5 string bass so I can take any tuning from D to A perfectly, just set-up with fresh new strings, my DI would be the instrument input of a Focusrite Saffire LE, just recorded a paramore track with it and sounded beautifully. Just let me know when the riff/song to be done is ready and I'll gladly do my part.

I find that what works best with threads like these is to just have an open submission duration. Open a thread with the necessary DIs and set a final submission date. That way anyone can enter whenever they want. A signup phase is pointless, the signup/submit should be one thing.

Its more for me to get an idea of how many people are participating so I can figure out how many people per round, etc. Last competition I also pm'ed all participants with a package containing all the necessary data and files. I also put it up for download in a thread, but I thought I'd make it easier on people.

Its not a hard signup or anything, you can exit/enter as you please during the entire competition period.
