How Californians see America

Replace "California awesome" with "California narcissistic media whores" and that's pretty much how I see things too LOL.

Starbucks is closing 600 of its stores. Maybe people are starting to realize that their coffee tastes like burnt diarrhea

Don't really care enough about coffee to care about the quality of Starbuck's coffee...however, the few times I've popped into one to get a cake or a pastry, I've been fairly disgusted.

He really thinks Los Angeles is even considered part of greater California? What a silly boy.

I said that once, before he got used to it. He came down here, knocked on the door, and slapped the beard off of me.
I had to start all over... I still get nervous when people say it.

It stormed here hard and fast. Everything got drenched, but it stayed hot the whole time. It stopped raining after 20 minutes or so and the heat ahs already dried up all the water. Really weird, strange atmosphere outside. I love it.

it's just really misty for months at a time.

Lower average rainfall than many other places, I think it works out to..

Kinda like Arcata....land of the mists (herbal, etc)!
Or any other harbor/coastal town, for that matter :p

We had that right before the lightning storm here!
At 2am, I was loading my car to go camping, and I was suddenly showered by raindrops the size of marbles (well, it felt like it :p)

The pavement was still very warm, so the moisture evaporated quickly, and it left that nice ozone smell.

Isn't that one of the nicest smells in the world? I think it is :)

Yeah I love it too. Here it sometimes happens before it starts raining so you can literally smell it coming. Pretty cool :D
