I would think metal fans might be more likely to download an album in its entirety than the average music listener. Singles are for chumps.

I used to look up new stuff on myspace occasionally, but it's so easy to download a full album through blogspot rapidshare links now that I generally don't bother. My school's having a concert later this month, featuring some band called Brand New, who I'm not familiar with. They're not metal though, and one of my friends says that in addition to making shitty music, they're complete douchebags who don't respect their fans at all. The only reason I bring this up is because I've been meaning to check them out on myspace, because I don't think downloading their full albums would be worth it.
Apparently they rank higher than state colleges from most other states and they have a very good job placement rate with pretty good starting salaries, from what I've heard. Next semester is going to be my last one actually, so I'd better get my ass down to the career services office, so they can tell me what to waste the rest of my life on
