I bought a new car (the "I wanna be like Gugs" thread)...

lurch's lesbianmobile sucks down as much lesbianfuel than my lesbiandoes. I get 16mpg street and 25mpg highway, which usually translates to 19mpg on average.

Romazda.............Gaybaru
2,983lbs..............3,165lbs
156hp..................227hp
150tq...................217tq
18mpg..................19mpg
wtf?.....................ok

Shit is all kinds of lesbianfucked up, yo.

i am now documenting this mpg issue with photos every day of driving. Zeroed out my trip computer at the fillup last night and this is what I have so far today ... right side of pic is AVG MPG's ... left of pic # of miles covered on current tank ... will do this until this tank is over.
a 22/29 car should not be giving me this kind of average.

you realize your doors are open?

Anyway, I called Dodge and told them to cancel my Challenger order; I didnt realize it was some kinda limited-edition trickery. My next idea is a Gaybaru (LOL, Adrian) STi. Or a Yaris. I'm waiting for Car and Driver to do a comparo betweem the two.

LOL @ the doors

dude, the SRT8 is the one they are bringing out first ...

then in a few more months (by the fall) they will have more standard engines/trims

its the first time Dodge released a car "backwards"

Yeah Zod, get a bimmer! :loco:
If for some reason I suddenly find myself single, I'll buy the BMW. Granted, I'm already a complete babe magnet (in part, because I'm so humble), but a nice car never hurts.

How much are you planning to drive in it anyway? I mean: work-home-work or long drives in the weekends etc?
It doesn't seem like I drive much. It's only seven miles to work, and I work from home three days a week. However, my current car is a 12,000 mile lease, and about six months ago I started swapping cars with the wife, every time I needed to drive a distance of more than 20 miles. And even after doing that, I'm going to turn the car in three weeks early, to avoid paying for miles.

Just to be safe, I'm getting a 15K lease on the GLI.

Yeah, the regular Challenger will have a lame 350 horsepower. What a waste of time.

They come in pints? I'm getting one.

Then again, by the time the stupid American market realizes how awesome diesels are, we'll be out of gas. P'OH!

there is a new VW TDI on the way ... approved and legal in all 50 states.

on a side note... i got an insulting low ball offer on my trade in for the Mazda ... so i will be supporting our troops and the Iraq war for a bit more time.

Trade your car in for a beater. Take the money you save and buy hundreds of metal cds. (It's a far wiser investment, plus you'll be able to hang in the Madness voting) :dopey:

That sucks. It's amazing how long you need to hold a car before you can actually unload without taking a loss.

Zod

yeah ... I think if i hang onto it for another year, I'll get the same offer as now.

plus the BMW dealer I went to for the MINI is the only dealer in the country that is BMW factory owned, so they don't really care about trade in deals.

will try one more dealer for shits and giggles, but if that does not work out, will hang on to the car for another year at least.

LOL @ Jerry ... last thing I need to buy right now is cd's

Yeah, I noticed the high diesel prices yesterday. I had to do a double take. My friend who drives the diesel VW said she gets about 42 mpg but it still costs more than driving something like a Yaris because of the diesel cost and the expense of diesel engine maintenance. No thanks.

Fuck cars. There was a time when we all got on trains and buses and the choice to drive a car to the city limits to buy Chinese junk at Walmart didn't exist. Fucken city planners. Why are humans so stupid?

Can you imagine the difference we could have made in the world, had we put the resources into alternative energy that we we've put and we're going to put towards trying to conquer and control what would essentially be a sandbox if not for their oil resources?
