yeah I dont like thrash at all. but power metal pwns

I'm the exact opposite. the reason being is there is no underground credibility to the music and there's no brutality in the delivery either. When I listen to metal I want brutality.

What, becuase they are often trained singers*?

*though more growly vocalist may be trianed in some way, they usually aren't singers (grows usually are't classified as singing).


To any who would bash power, at least it contains bands of skill, unlike some other (sub) genres. The music and songs they perform can be of high quality, as with thrash or traditional or whatever else.


Whether you like them or not, surely they are better than generic pop?
