If Mort Divine ruled the world

I like how "men are disposable" but women have it worse because they must be protected. Either i'm becoming Patrice O'Neal or I really am seeing women making everyone feel bad for them.

How much of an effect has the removal of gendered pronouns in Sweden done?

Sweden, arguably the most feminist place on Earth, women have much more choice over their destinies and yet the gender disparity in fields we consider male dominated are even more male dominated. Always found that very interesting.
On the other hand, places like India where there is much less feminism and choice have much more gender equality in male dominated fields due to the need to enter the highest earning fields.

Can't tell that to any of these braindead feminists here though, it's the patriarchy keeping women out of STEM.

I think the most telltale thing is how independent service jobs like yardmen, handymen, electricians, etc have some of the lowest amount of female representation of any field. Jobs that are very possible to do independently meaning no shitlord men hitting on you or demeaning you at work, yet somehow women almost never do them. The only explanation I can think of is that customers are sexist and don't trust women to prune or fix things correctly, which may be true (iirc studies have shown that men and women alike are less trusting of female surgeons, for instance), but then it's not like you can apply hiring quotas to individuals or families.

Women overwhelmingly prefer stability compared to men. Independent/SBO looks like a broken rickety bridge to the Temple of Doom compared to working comfy, low demand jobs for a large company.

That's how I figure it. Not saying I'm a superior independent alpha male either, I'm timid/lazy as fuck and would love a cozy 9-5, but men are overwhelmingly the ones that enjoy risks and working themselves to death. Come to think of it, gambling in general is a male-dominated thing, isn't it? Men are just predisposed to that stuff, and competition.

What's worse is when women (mostly older in my experience, having only been to casinos in areas with high levels of retirees), play card games but don't actually play them - jacking up the table for actual players. They just throw out the money some poor guy worked himself to an earlier grave for until they get bored of losing and move on to something else to lose at.

Yeah, the patriarchy dictates muscle mass, testosterone levels, and spatial acuity/skills.
I made it pretty clear that I agree on this I think?

Yeah but you know when a country hasn't been to war in over 100 years being sheltered feels more and more like being imprisoned? But as I said its a double edged sword and women does have benifits too.

And removal of what? I don't know any removed prenouns from our language?

Is that some sort of slang for Blackjack? That's all I do at casinos and I beat the house more than the house beats me in terms of $$.

@Vilden: So what's the problem? Men and women as groups have innate strengths and weaknesses, or to put it in other terms, respective areas of comparative advantage. Culture codifies these respective advantages to allow for actual civilizational progress.

Because that categorical thinking stifles the individual imo. It's better to judge on the person not the gender (which Cassette now will tell me that it is the feminists that do and I'm a hypocrite). Because while as groups there are differences there are too big of a span inside the groups to justify "Collective punishment" (for lack of a better term :p ).

He/she exists alright, they just added another genderless one alongside it, so you are free to use which one you want. It is just for when you don't know the gender of someone, not a way to remove gender. For all things you can blame feminists for this has to be one of the least controversial ones. I mean several other languages already have had this for like forever.

.

Jacks or better, trips to win. A poker variant where you ante and deal first hand as is, but can't open betting unless at least one player has a pair of jacks or better. If nobody does, you toss in and re-ante, re-draw. If they do you start up betting and play as usual. In order to get the pot, you need three of a kind or better at the close of betting.

The tricky part is that if at any time you fold, you're out for good. So if you fold because someone else had that pair and you have nothing, it could be nobody had the trips to win. They'd re-ante and re-draw, and you lost out big time.

That variant sounds fucking retarded tbh. No skill involved. I play holdem and omaha, and some other variants from time to time in varying stakes.

I do not have good luck with blackjack. Unless I get 20 or 21 I always lose and go on ridiculous losing streaks that defy the odds.

If you don't enjoy risk and reward, sure, I guess it would sound retarded. But if that's the case why bother playing any poker at all? You're delusional if you think luck isn't the primary integer in a card game.

Black jack a little less so because you can do the easy math of how many cards are already laid out and what's left.

You are ass backwards, buddy.
