Agreed, he probably is; but that's speculation on our part. We can't know his intentions, but we're allowing ourselves a degree of speculation due to the circumstances.
Likewise, I think we can allow ourselves a degree of speculation when it comes to what the Covington students were doing. They weren't innocent bystanders or passive observers. They knew the impact of their presence.
The misleading media coverage of the event has resulted in a disproportionate backlash in which the right is trying to absolve these kids of any and all consequences their actions might have had. This is how the right-as-perpetual-underdog strategy works.

Ok, it may be 'speculation', but really, there is a reason why he doesnt just call himself a veteran. He always has to throw Vietnam into it. Id be willing to bet my left nut that he does it because there is a large portion of people who will allow himself more legitimacy than a vet during peacetime.
You mean a meaningless shouting match in which nobody was even injured? It was a protest. People said shit. So what? Most other newsworthy protests have involved violence and/or vandalism. This one had none of that. The reason why this was blown out of proportion is because it was initially speculated that kids were mocking a Native American guy and harassing him unprovoked like they were some racist mongrels. This was not the case. The kids were being harassed by those black hebrews and shit just got out of hand. I see some conflicting viewpoints on the matter, but remember that Nathan Phillips is a seasoned activist and is taking this as an opportunity to platform his cause. I saw some kids in the video playing along with, and perhaps mocking the Native American song, but im willing to bet that this was just an emotional response to the heat of the moment rather than an act of bigotry. Im not sure a reliable narrator exists for this story, so maybe the kids said racist things, maybe they didnt. Other than school chants and some interaction with the Native American song, I saw nothing of the sort. The real assholes in this situation (the black hebrews) are being completely ignored. But the left wont damn them because they are black.

Please describe the impact of their presence, putting aside the skin color of the parties involved. But at this point you're not just illiterate but instead blind if you watched the full video and think the high school kids wandered over to the Native's march, and not the other way around.

I emphasized their clothing, not the color of their skin. The hats were what people reacted to, not that they were white. I never said or insinuated that the problem was their skin color.
The Indigenous People's march was already taking place on the mall before the cameras started filming. The kids wandered over from where the pro-life rally was taking place, which was several blocks away.
Again, they were heading to the meeting spot to be picked up, and noticed the exchanges taking place between the Black Israelites and Native Americans. It was, without a doubt, the Black Israelites who instigated and escalated matters. All I'm saying is the kids couldn't not have known the impact their paraphernalia would have had.

What's wrong with their hats? Did they wear them knowing a march involving Native Americans would see them?
The kids were waiting at Lincoln Memorial for about an hour before the Native march, specifically that race-baiting drummer, approached them.

Nothing's wrong with the hats in and of themselves. But the hats aren't neutral apparel, and you're delusional if you think they are.
And no, they probably didn't wear them anticipating that Native Americans would see them. But they could have taken them off at any time, and they didn't. That's a choice, and it's one they're entitled to. But then they should expect a dialogue.
The Indigenous People's march was already scheduled to visit all the memorials along the mall, I'm pretty sure. I'm not saying they intentionally interrupted or went to meet the Native Americans; but the Native Americans didn't go out of their way to approach the students either. They simply followed their route.
Finally, the Native Americans didn't initiate the whole affair. The Black Israelites did. The Atlantic story describes the Native Americans as trying to avoiding confrontation with the students, in fact.

Even mentioned your comment where you referred to him as a serial liar. That's one thing you definitely did call. And its funny, because he loved talking shit about you too(and literally everyone else here except one person). I have it all saved.
