so, i'm a public servant with 26 years old but i'd like to receive more money than i do, but i'm very confused cuz i don't know if i should try to start an academic course or study hard for another public work that pays more than my job.

so, what's your opinion???

Option C: Continue in your job, slowly letting your self esteem drain away until you're an empty husk of a human being, and then go on a killing spree, citing porn, video games, and heavy metal as your reasons for doing so.

For a serious answer, I'd say go to school. Having a college degree will probably give you a lot more job opportunities than getting into a slightly better position in the type of work you're already in. People usually change their job multiple times throughout their lives, so the degree will help you more if you have to eventually go to a much different type of job. Also, you're still young, so the extra income you will get by having a degree will most likely make up for the tuition cost.

In short: school = more opportunities + more money in the long term

dude, i understand your point and i appreciate your serious opinion, but i'm not totally convinced if i wanna stay in my job for 4 or 5 years to try another position in my life, and i know if i decide study in a college wouldn't be a waste of time.

i need more time to decide.

Well said, but is right now really the best time to consider not working and studying instead? Unless he decides to study part time and work, then that's cool.

Given the current economic climate, quitting one's job isn't a good idea right now.
