IN FLAMES new album being released by the end of 2016

Hi there, jesterbitches. Merry-late-Christmas, I guess. Decided to post here for some reason, probably because I'm bored with studying the shit for the exam at the university, and it's 5AM already. Lurked here for a while and also registered last month to whine about Battles, even though I didn't even post anything after that, lol, so yeah, I'm new here.

About IF, all those different opinions on Battles are sure interesting to read. Different people like different things, huh?
The only song from Battles that I find myself liking and sometimes listening to is Wallflower, although it's totally not IF style (like most of the album). The intro to it is nice too, it's a bit refreshing after all the previous songs with the same structure. Also like the overall mood of the song, and Friden's vocals aren't even as annoying.
Also yeah, I enjoy Drained, well, before the chorus starts, then it becomes meh, but kinda sorta listenable sometimes, i guess.

I wonder now what will be the next step for In Flames. It kinda makes sense that they might go even further in this direction, since it's only Anders&Bjorn(and Niclas, kind of) now, and it seems like this is how they want to sound. I just miss old In Flames now, because I still listen to all their material up to SOAPF and still enjoy almost all of that, with some really small exceptions, and find something that appeals to me in every album before SC. Didn't touch any song off SC since early-early 2015, lel. I remember being sort of excited about new IF album in 2014 when they teased that first "Wide awake..." part of Rusted Nail, because it sounded different but kinda interesting (it still turned out kinda shitty in the end), but it all just went downhill from there. Sad story.

btw bought a ticket to Dark Tranquillity on January 27th OH GOD SOOOOO EXCITED really liked Atoma

I saw Amon Amarth with Behemoth and Grand Magus as support last weekend, was fucking sick. First time seeing AA live, will definitely see them more times in the future.

:tickled:
What's the most disgusting food that we can eat in your country?
Ughh... my immediate answer would be spinach "soup", but that's not really a Hungarian specialty.

To me, the most disgusting would probbaly be stew made from animal brain. Not originated here, but it is rather popular and I could never make myself eat it. Maybe I just watched Hannibal one too many times.

I used some cheating (a Hungarian site) and I found some stuff I would've forgotten otherwise:
- stew from animal nail. Never understood this, never will.
- stew from a cock's testicles.
- We eat fat. Like, literal fat. We put it all over slices of bread and it can be spiced up with: salt; onion rings; paprika condiment (strong or classic). It's an extremely cheap food, but tastes really good. If you want to taste the best, then you should use fat that remains after making a meal. It looks disgusting, but all you have to pay attention is to not overwhelm your belly. It's also very popular here in school after competitions, served with tea.
- If someone was in Germany or Austria I don't think he'd find this surprising, but "hurka" is popular here as well. It's basically blood, animal insides, rice, spices stuffed into the animal's own intestine; in the end it looks like a big sausage. It tastes really good, and once you are done with it, just let the fat go cold and white and you can eat it too!
- Swine blood. Never ate it, as I have never been to a piggy slaughter*, but heard about it. The article says "if your foreign friend is still not freaked out, just give them a cooked pig ear with the pig blood!"

*oh yeah, we also have pig slaughter, but the wiki article said it happens in Spain as well. Basically a bunch of people get together, get drunk, brutally murder a pig (erm, I mean, completely satisfying the EU laws, of course!!!!!!!!), get even more drunk, then prepare meals from everything of the poor pig from head to toe.

:tickled: I like cow brains boiled with potatoes and carrots.

Yes, it also happens here, specially in northern Spain, though it's forbidden by law and the animal should be killed quickly and with the less pain as possible. We even have, in my little part of spain, our own speciality, blood crepes made with the blood of the pig.

My cousing used to work at the local meat factory, and let me tell you, that little suffering the pigs get while they bleed out at pig slaughters is nothing compared to the brutality they are handlet with in a factory. Mutilated pigs are still dragged around, sometimes they resort to cannibalism, etc.

On another note, I think live shows are seriously underrated for some people. Like, I know going to local shows of local bands is mostly just a weekend activity, but to see such big bands - and yes, I include IF here as well - is pretty crazy. I always have good stories from such shows, not to mention the feeling when it settles that I was fucking there. Talked to them or stood a few meters from them, it's pretty unreal. More people should go!

Also, not to kill off anyone's joy, but trying to rationally guess what the next IF record will sound like is pointless. Just because they did this gay shit now does not mean the next one will be akin to it, but sure, it could be. Many bands proved that they can come out with a fucking banger if they want to, so I would not be more surprised to hear IF go heavy again than hearing them include jazz elements.

That is also supposedly forbidden by the EU. But you cannot make rules without a control method.

I mean, plowing people with trucks is also forbidden, but ya know... :D

Honestly, corruption is everywhere. So much, that I long grew desensitized to many of the bullshit in the world. Like, kudos to the people being in movements, and making demonstrations and shit, but I can't even be bothered to vote. A side effect of this that it makes me 36% cooler, but I can't help that.

In the meantime, I am getting fucked with some Russian malware, and I can't find a proper anti-virus program to save my life. How is that I have this Windows for over 2 years now, never got anything from porn, but ONCE I try to find a solution to start a game from a distant site and I invite the Russian army into my Chrome. Ffs, I am watching Mr. Robot where people bring down the whole economy via hacking, while I run into this old trick. I blame 2016 to be honest.

Tried malwarebytes in safe mode?

For games, you should always search boards or reddit, that's usually the safe solution.

As Eochaid said above, download Malwarebytes onto your PC if you don't already have it. Reboot into safe mode. Open Malwarebytes and let it do its thing. It should get rid of anything active, you can then clean up afterwards.

I'd also recommend getting SpyBot: Search and Destroy, it sometimes picks up things Malwarebytes misses. With those two on your machine you should be OK. Just be thankful it wasn't ransomeware :D

Hey guys, a belated merry Christmas to you all. As it is less than a month until I see Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and In Flames at the O2 arena, I'm now getting excited about what in flames might play. as it is a support setlist I don't expect much, but if bullet ride and MSS get played I'll be happy. The only other time I saw In Flames was in 2014, and it was the same setlist as the new DVD, minus When thr World Explodes, so amything I didn't see then will go down well. but I do want them to play fear is th weakness, as that song is amazing :D

Malwarebytes found a bunch of stuff (in safe mode, yes), got rid of them, but this pesky shit is still there. I will try Kaspersky and Spybot tonight, but this search engine seems like a cockroach.

Like, I am fine with my pc being slower, I will reinstall windows eventually, but it takes time since I am a hoarder. But this search engine man... I use google, it even loads the search results then BAM, russian search engine takes over - except when I used safe mode browsing in Avast. Yes, I did check the settings in Chrome, but the default search engine is still google. I tried the official chrome cleanup too.

OOH, UPDATE: okay, I feel like Mr Robot now, the hacker genius! I narrowed this problem down to google. I switched my default search engine to Bing, and it worked fine. Switched back to Google, and it was the same. Basically this maleware somehow leeched itself to google.

It sounds like you have a browser hijacker/adware as opposed to malware. Avast should be able to remove the browser hijacking code if you boot into safe mode and use the relevant feature. You might want to download AdAware by Lavasoft and a program called AdwCleaner. Again, run them both in safe mode.

If you've still got an issue then the malware may have changed registry settings. In that case you would need to determine exactly what strain of trojan you were infected with and look up how to manually remove anything Malware/Adware software can't touch.

Download ccleaner, search for any programs that you did not download. Delete them. Then clean the registry, then look for any program that starts with windows and should not be there. Then search in program files for any folder that should not be there and delete it. Then search again with the antivirus in safe mode.

If the problem continues, you can always delete chrome and reinstall it.

One final hint, if you reinstall windows, once that you have installed all he programs that you want and the drivers, make a security copy of your system. It will take some time, but it is worth the pain. This way, next time you install a clean copy of your system as you want it to be.

You should also try some free os like fedora or Ubuntu, they are far more secure, though you need to know a little about Linux commands and it has its limitations when it comes to software like: no Photoshop and no games...

Seems like Slave may have been taken down by those cold hearted Russian swines. RIP, you crazy bastard.
