IN FLAMES new album being released by the end of 2016

It's pointless trying to get it through to Jester Slave, you'd have better luck educating a wall. Unfortunately I will never be able to argue his points as I have better things to do than read his diatribes - like watch paint dry or take a shit. I salute those of you who can wade through that sea of textual diarrhea and formulate a worthwhile response.

That is an admirable vocabulary, reminding me how I want to be through with my training course and finally learn English again. The one reason I do not like to do wall of texts in English is because while I can (and like, and do!) phrase as fancily as you just did in my native tongue, I can't do it here, so my intellectual superiority can never truly shine through, which is a real shame.

I do feel like an asshole for insulting you constantly Slave.

Once you stop lumping about ten different peoples' ideas & opinions into one... Then saying everything that counters YOUR opinion is lazy, thoughtless and just plain mean...

Then every discussion you're involved in won't turn into a war. Everyone else here, when they disagree, are quoting each other's posts and then responding, while maintaining being cool with each other. We understand the commonality of all of our minds discussing the same music and the variables that follow in each person's interpretation of the material or topic at hand.

And sometimes you don't have to take throwaway posts so seriously.

*Side note: Jesters Door does make a good point that relates about Siren Charms. It may be the worst, but it's not the worst music ever made of course. Its just the worst record of a band with a lot of albums. An experimental record that didn't reasonate with the majority of fans. Plenty of people do like it though.

With all the shit I talk, I CAN listen to a few tracks and I'm not even talking about The Chase. I just don't often, compared to other In Flames songs.

You are so thin skinned it's unreal

After not listening for a week and throwing The End's lyric vid on the tele while chilling on the couch with my tablet...

I still would've liked the song to finish with a final repeat of the main guitar riff. Its a decent melodic riff. ONLY thing I find wrong about the song.

I only saw it shared on their facebook today, and those comments you are talking about are from previous days. Most of the "THE TRUTH FOR SURE" comments are from today.

Are you sure you didn't just create hundreds of fake profiles to get it over the edge? It's OK, we won't tell anybody.

If it was an SC song, then without hesitation.

But what did they even win? Is it an on-going competition or just a random one off survey what song out of the three we like the most?

why would you have done it if it was a SC song but not The Truth? The Truth is basically a Siren Charms song with better vocals (except the we are we are we are bit)

I disagree with you there man. SC had some good songs, even the worst song of SC which is Paralyzed for me its 100x better than "The Truth". The vocals are better i agree but overall its the worst IF song for me. I hate to say that but the song is a new low for IF.

huh, I think Paralyzed is one of the better ones haha. Well yeah The Truth's chorus' suck but I like the vocal work in the rest of the song and the solo is pretty neat so it's still a 6.5/10 for me (the same rating that I would give to Siren Chams as a whole album)

As an In Flames song it gets a 0/10 for me, as it has nothing to do with the band's traditional sound.

As a standalone song, out of context, 4 or 5 max. Kinda catchy, might stick in your head for a while, but no substance or soul. A hollow pop anthem.

Just to be clear here: I was kidding on both ends. If I wanted to be serious:

- The Truth is very solid, around 7/10, I absolutely want them to play it live! I don't think it's a new low for the band. Their softest, most poppy song is still Through Oblivion, which I like a lot actually.

- Paralyzed is among the worse tracks of SC. When The World Explodes is an absolute shitter, but Dead Eyes, Paralyzed and Everything's Gone are meh to me. Not interesting, lacking emotion, I don't see much value in them, even though it's chilling to listen to Dead Eyes, EG is fine live and I dig the electronics in Paralyzed.

- The End is much more interesting than The Truth, and it's a solid mix of being hip yet still being In Flames.
