And if you look at the video, no, Alexi doesn't bitch slap himself or anyone else, he just swings his arm a bit too theatrically to be playing guitar the first time he sings that.

No. Official lyrics from the band for In Your Face have never been posted on cobhc.com. I have received some lyrics from Alexi for some songs and they have been written in a very similar style as the In Your Face lyrics K_A got from Tuula from Spinefarm. I'm almost positive it's by him. It could be that Spine has got them from Alexi for some Karaoke DVD where In Your Face appeared.

For the record, often the lyrics written down by Alexi on the PC aren't in top form and need some editing, very much like the lyrics from Tuula. There's been some typos and other oddities (one line in the Blooddrunk chorus is clearly wrong but what can you do?) .. Since the lyrics aren't a big deal to the guy who writes them, maybe we who read them shouldn't really care so much either. In COB vocals are just another instrument anyway and it sometimes even sucks that lyrics set some boundaries to how they can be. But of course it's nice to get an idea what the songs are all about.

Yeah i agree we should get over it. I'd like the lyrics to all the songs, expecially the Banned From Heaven ones cus of that lyrics discussion thread. There are wrong lyrics of COBHC.com (i think) for everytime I die. It says something like "like blood on my arms" but I THINK he really says in the song "like blood drips off my arms". Also at the end of In Your Face on Chaos Ridden Years he slaps himself in the face, thats gotta count for something. ^No. Look a few posts up, I posted the lyrics Alexi gave Spinefarm for a karaoke DVD. They're the correct ones, end of story. Sometimes he uses different words live, but that's it.
