JOHN BUSH: My Time With ANTHRAX Is 'Over' - Sep. 25, 2005

Well its nice to finally hear from John and you cant blame John for feeling like that. It is indeed a sad day for Anthrax. And like what Timmy said what about all the songs from the last 4 albums??? I dont want to hear Belladonna try to sing them. Very sad news but not unexpected.

Bring on a new Armored Saint album or i hope Bush gets a new band together working with Rob Caggiano and Joey Vera. Thats what i'll be buying instead of more re-released old school Anthrax best of's albums. *SNORE*

It sounds like John Bush has got tired of waiting on a definate and straight answer from Scott and co regarding his future with Anthrax just like we all have been.

sad news, but just a confirmation of what we already knew... (even if i was still hoping for some good news).

I used to think integrity was something important for this band, i must have misread their lyrics.... :puke:

I remember Scott said something like "CDC will be first to bring you any band news, not the Blabbermouth"....
Pfffft.....yeah, right!

Crankin' 1000 Points of Hate!

I think this sucks. Both Joey and John are both class acts in my book. It would have been nice to see them both share the stage. I can't blame John for not wanting to do this tour and I shure as hell don't blame Joey for wanting to stay. I just hope that we see Bush back in some form or another. Either with saint or perhaps a new band with Rob.. ( I support the new band theory).... This sucks. Excuse me I need a Guinness.

The sad thing about all this is that we will never hear tunes like What Doesn't Die, Safe Home, Only, RAOSV, Inside Out, Room For One More etc etc - the list is endless - ever again live. That is fucking sad.

yeah but hopefully we will hear songs like Horror of it all, one man stands, imittaion of life, skeletons, stand or fall live. Now that is not sad lol!!! I see no reason why joey could not sing safe home or only. might need to alter the tunings but he is a great singer and would do an amazing job of them

I wish Bush took part. As amazing as this reunion has been, I think it would have been even more so to see two sets - one with Belladonna, one with Bush. Everyone here is picking sides; I enjoy both line ups, but have to admit, a new record with Belladonna would be cooler than one with Bush (IMHO). Still sucks for Bush, and I do feel for the guy. Can't be an easy time for him.

I was always partial to Only, WCFYA, Refuse to be denied, and Catharsis.

As much as I love J.B. and the albums he took part in with 'Thrax, I still feel it is for the best on both sides. :Spin:

Agreed completely.

I´ll probably come of as a cynical bastard (but that´s what I am), Blabberdork will go apeshit over this for a couple of days and around Thursday Mr. Wu will break the news... "The REAL AnthraX is back, Bush is out. Don´t belive rumours and so on".

I haven't visisted these boards in awhile, but I hope Scott and Charlie say something definitive about this soon.
If Bush does end up leaving permanently, this sucks ass through a rusty straw.

I had never heard of Blabbermouth until I registered here so I'm not sure of their accuracy. Does anyone know how often their stories have been wrong? Better question, since this relates to the Revolver magazine issue, is that really what it says in the magazine article? Among_the_dead (think that's who it was) didn't actually say that John Bush was out when he was talking about the article, just that there were Reunion Blues.
